STRINGLESS BEAN

Also known as French beans, Green beans or Round beans.

There are over 130 different varieties.  Stringless beans are missing the fibrous strip along the edge of the bean pod that had to be removed before cooking.  When the stringless variety was developed it simplified preparation.

These varieties vary in size, colour, flavour, and shape.  This is a very versatile product, it can be steamed, boiled, stir-fried, or baked in casseroles.

Like all beans, they are an excellent source of fibre and provide a range of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients.
