VALENCIA ORANGES
Members of the Rutaceae family, Valencia Oranges are a hybrid orange developed in Mexico in the first half of the 19th century.
The skin is deep golden in colour, thin, smooth and pebbled, the flesh is bright in colour, segmented, sweet, juicy and tender, they have few to no seeds. They should be firm, medium sized, and feel heavy for their size.
Excellent source of vitamin C, good source of folate, potassium, vitamin A and calcium.
